Gideon's current obsession is tortoises, so you can imagine the excitement that ensued when his fieldtrip to the Wildlife Park brought him into close contact with several different varieties. I was actually on top of things enough to take some video. Enjoy Gid's encounter with the tortoises!

I love Tortoise Update! It makes me want to wrap up our yellow bellied slider turtle that walked across our road and onto our front porch, and ship her (him?) to Gid to love & take care of. Her name is Jackie and she's supposed to live for a loooong time. I do hope we see more Tortoise Update with Gid soon. :)
